I like this girl but her ex-flame just came back from overseas.. what do i do?

i met this girl the other night and everything about her just intrigued me.. as in she was not who she seemed which made me want to know her more. so we saw each other a few times after that and she was feeling blue one day, so the night before i got her a street sign (her name) and pulled one of of my corny lines.. "so.. you know how i got you something.. if it cheers you up will ya kiss me?" and she was unsure.. so she was stoked and kissed me on the cheek instead. i guess i may have been moving too fast? (shes quite traditional) anyway we saw each other a few more times after that and just before i was going to seal the deal (kiss her) her ex flame came back from overseas and they never really patched things up.. so then she went on the fence and is unsure about either of us...what should i do?
