What happens to us after death?

No one who has never died can say for sure. For all we know, death could just be a gate to another world, and nothing like any religion suggests. I personally find this very unlikely, as I see humans as being very natural and our life similar to the other life in the ecosystem. When we die, we aren't aware of it. We have as much consciousness as we had before we were born. At least, that's what I believe.
