Is my dog converting over?

My husband has a pitbull boy and he loves him dearly. My husband used to be home more in the evenings, but now he works overnight. The dog usually follows him like a shadow, wherever he goes. He would rarely listen to me, but since my husband started working overnight, his baby Judah, has been more responsive to me, way more. He follows me, listens to me, and since he started to work, I taught him to sit. Every since then, he has followed me around and looks to me for much of his needs. He is also really obedient, and very smart and playful-not the breed statistic at all. I know that dogs have only one master even if they are a family dog, so my question is do you think that maybe he is beginning to consider me his master as well, or maybe co-master?
