How can I lose weight?

I'm 73kg (160 pounds) and seriously need help losing weight. I've taken to eating Special K cereal for breakfast, salad for recess and brown rice instead of white rice for lunch. I'm very good at badminton, but hv no one to play with. I don't want to turn to anorexia or bulimia as a solution. Please help!
