Why dosent most hip hop lovers in USA know nothing about Grime music?

I mean im a hip hop fan and im american i love hip hop i grew up hip hop i love rap too i dont care what people say about it & i also love grime alot as well which for thse of u who dont know is a british version of hip hop so why dosent grime and heak maybey even some american unfounded goos material and other good shyt from around the world be known why do we have to stick with pitbulls and flo ridas and stuff?
