Are stewed tomatoes like crushed tomatoes?

Ladybug is right and they are more pronounce in flavour, crushed tomatos are tomato puree with the seeds in them just mashed and tinned, as for beef stock, boullion or broth as a former chef they are all very much the same, different brands can be saltier or stronger depending on the way the were made and canned consumme is the most refined.
